Quereinsteigerin Melanie in einem PDL Smart

How did you get into nursing?
I was actually interested in a job in home economics. I quickly realized that the field of nursing offered me a wide range of development opportunities.

What do you like about the nursing profession?
The gratitude of the clients for making a social contribution and the independent work.

Do you have any advice for other career changers?
Give the new task time. For example, after 4 weeks I didn't know if it was right for me. It was only after the induction period and the experience I gained in the first few months that I became confident in my actions and can now say that I feel incredibly comfortable in my nursing job. This is also noticed by my husband at home, who has perceived me as very balanced and happy since I started doing the job.
